Cottonwood
Our largest species by volume, Cottonwood is a favored alternative to Poplar because of its lighter weight and similar grain pattern. Cottonwood is in high demand in Europe and Asia, where it is known as White Poplar. Used in furniture panels and parts, shutters, interior doors, lineal molding, caskets, and other fine products, Cottonwood has a low tendency to split when nailed, glues well, and can be stained to resemble more expensive woods such as Cherry. »more

Hackberry
As the largest producer of Hackberry in the United States, Anderson-Tully has perfected the process of maintaining the wood’s natural white color. Our second largest species in production volume, Hackberry is frequently used as a substitute for Ash in the manufacture of furniture and cabinetry. »more

Pecan

Poplar
